Overview

Kameeldoring Camping offers accommodation on a picturesque farm located on the outskirts of Augrabies, a quaint town in the Northern Cape. The farm is nestled on the banks of the Orange River, where guests can enjoy excellent fishing opportunities.

Accommodation is offered in a choice of either the structured tents or the camping grounds. There are 2 luxury tented chalets and 5 structured tents. The structured tents are all equipped to meets guests' basic self-catering requirements and feature private bathrooms as well as air-conditioners.

There are 7 campsites located under the large camel thorn trees, each accommodating up to 8 guests at a time. The campsites are suitable for either tents or caravans. Each site has its own ablution facility with a shower, and a kitchen area where meals can be prepared. Hot water is provided by a wood-fire donkey.

The farm is within easy reach of Augrabies National Park, where guests can enjoy game drives, and it is located less than 1 km from the Augrabies Falls. Other activities in the area include hot air balloon rides, hiking, or fishing.

Important Information

A refundable breakage deposit of R 30 is payable directly to the establishment.

The tar road leads to the gate and then there is a 300 m gravel road leading to the unit.
Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
