De Poort Country Lodge

De Poort Country Lodge offers self catering and/or B&B accommodation in six spacious en-suite rooms; each with its own private entrance and patio. The Karoo Cottage is a separate two-bedroom cottage with two bathrooms and can sleep up to 6 people. It was built in the 1800’s and has a lot of character and charm. Totally secluded from the other rooms with its own inside & outside BBQ area, two patio's and covered parking area.

Blue salt water swimming pool and relaxing area. For braai/BBQ facilities, we offer unique private outdoor boma’s, either at the swimming pool or situated privately in the mountain. Sit around the fire and listen to the tranquil sound of the Grobbelaar’s river in the background and be amazed by the beautiful starry Karoo nights.

De Poort Country Lodge is easy accessible from the R328, surrounded by mountains and opposite a game farm. Only 15km from Oudtshoorn town and centrally located to numerous tourist attractions to name but a few, the Cango Caves & Zipline, Cango Wildlife Ranch, Ostrich Show Farms, Karusa Winery & Craft Brewery, Wilgewandel Family farm and the Swartberg Mountain pass.
