Tandweni Villa

Tandweni Villa is a unique, privately owned, modern self-catering villa set within the Pongola Biosphere Reserve and on the banks of the Jozini Dam. The villa offers some of the best tiger fishing, Big 4 game viewing and the ultimate bush luxury experience.

Tandweni Villa boasts panoramic views of Jozini dam and Ubombo mountain pass from every room. The villa can accommodate up to 10 guests, and contains 5 modern luxury bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, 2 of which are en suite. The first bedroom contains a king-size bed. The second and third bedrooms each contain a queen-size bed, and the fourth and fifth bedrooms each contain 2 single beds.

The kitchen, dining and living area are open-plan and unique offering expansive open spaces with large glass doors and windows welcoming the outside in. The villa has its own boma to enjoy outside fires under the stars, a private well-equipped gym and refreshing plunge pool.

The verandah and pool area have endless views over the dam and up the Jozini Gorge making it the perfect place to relax and have a sundowner or read a book.

This is the ideal family getaway, the villa is so child friendly, there is an amazing jungle gym, the garden is massive and fenced, the house is all 1 level and there is a pool net. Jabulani, our ranger, is amazing with kids and loves teaching them to fish and he makes sure game drives are child friendly and entertaining.

There is a boat which comes equipped with fishing rods and tackle for tiger fishing or boat cruises, as well as a game drive vehicle. With its own grass airstrip access, flying in becomes an extremely convenient luxury.
