Overview

Situated in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, in the quaint town of Hoedspruit, Rooibos Luxury Bush Cottage offers self-catering accommodation in a beautifully furnished, African-style cottage just 70km from Kruger National Park’s Orpen Gate.

Overlooking the bushveld, the spacious cottage can accommodate 2 adults in one lovely open plan bedroom and kitchen with a separate bathroom. The bed is king-size, and has an en-suite bathroom with an indoor shower and an outside shower.

The spacious open-plan kitchen is equipped with an oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar. A dishwasher is also available for guests to use. The living area is equipped with Wi-Fi, and opens onto the spacious covered patio.

The patio has a lovely seating and dining area, that overlooks the swimming pool that is exclusive for guests use, and a lovely braai boma for an evening drink or braai under the beautiful African sky.

The cottage is surrounded by big trees including Marula, Knob Thorn and Leadwood trees, and wild game such as zebra, giraffe, impala, porcupine, warthog, and duiker roam the estate. Duiker, warthog and vervet monkeys are occasional visitors to the cottage, and there is an abundance of bird life. Guests can also go on a game drive through the estate to see the free-roaming game.

There is a swimming pool that does not have a net covering the pool.
NO DRONES.
NO BB/Pellet Guns.

This is a nature reserve therefore no noise is allowed.
No feeding of the wild animals is allowed.
No walking or riding of bikes after sunset or before sunrise.
The speed limit is 40km on the estate, offenders will be fined.
Checkout anytime before 10am.
We stay on the property in our own lodge, we are available should the guests need us.
There is a small curio showroom on site to browse through.
Dangerous animals on property - Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate is a nature reserve and has free roaming wild animals on the estate including leopards.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 45 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 60 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
