La Ferme, Franschhoek

La Ferme offers comfortable self-catering accommodation ideal for a relaxed weekend away in the Franschhoek Winelands. It is an ideal spot for for those with a keen interest in fly fishing, as there are stocked dams right on your doorstep. Guests can enjoy beautiful views in a tranquil setting.

La Ferme has 4 accommodations, each with a kitchenette and living area. Each cottage is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a stove, a microwave, air-conditioning, a TV with Showmax (guests can log into their own Netflix), and braai facilities. Relax on the wooden deck of the chalet and light a fire, or take a drive into Franschhoek and visit one of the many lovely restaurants.

There are 4 well-stocked dams in which to catch rainbow trout, bass and carp. Pack a picnic or make use of the braai facilities round the dams. For those who love the outdoors, activities include mountain biking and hiking in the neighbouring nature reserve. Guests can bring their own bikes and will need to book a permit through Cape Nature to ride in the reserve.

The area is also ideal to explore award-winning and beautiful wine farms. The Franschhoek Motor Museum is also a popular attraction, and is located 10.3 km from la Ferme.
