Invermooi Estate - The Cabin, Nottingham Road

The Cabin offers comfortable accommodation in a 1-bedroom self-catering lodge situated on the Invermooi Angus Stud farm in the foothills of the Drakensberg, 25 km outside Nottingham Road in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. The Invermooi Estate offers a tranquil country setting with panoramic views of the Drakensberg mountains, where guests can enjoy a peaceful getaway from the city. Invermooi Estate offers 5 lodges and 3 rondavels, conveniently situated around the estate giving guests the privacy they require.

The Cabin is tastefully furnished and comprises 1 bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table. The bedroom contains a queen-size bed and is equipped with a TV with selected DStv channels and Wi-Fi. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, an oven and stove, and a microwave, and has a dining table and chairs. The Cabin also offers braai facilities.

Invermooi Estate is a premier trout-fishing destination, and the estate offers many dams and 8 km of river frontage. Set on a working farm, this is the ideal spot to enjoy the countryside with birds and wildlife in abundance. The local Nottingham Road Village has much to offer, including many restaurants, pubs and craft shops. Other activities include fly fishing, hiking and mountain biking.
