Fairfax Farmhouse, Nottingham Road

Fairfax Farmhouse is a comfortable and modern self-catering farmhouse set on a peaceful farm in Nottingham Road, in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.

The farmhouse can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a large kitchen, dining room, a TV lounge, and a sun room with a second lounge area. The first bedroom contains a king-size bed and a shower en suite with a toilet and twin washbasins. The second bedroom contains a king-size bed that can be converted to 2 single beds and a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin. The third bedroom contains a king-size bed that can be converted to 2 single beds. The fourth bedroom contains 2 single beds. These 2 rooms share a bathroom with a bath and a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. All the bedrooms have ceiling fans.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, and a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area contains a 10-seater dining table and chairs. The TV lounge offers comfy seating, a fireplace and a flat-screen TV. The sun room contains comfortable couches and a fireplace, and has stacker doors that open all along to enjoy the outdoors and the view. Off the sunroom is a covered patio with a built-in braai, a kettle braai, and a 10-seater dining table and chairs.

At the other side of the house, the long covered front verandah offers chairs to sit and relax and enjoy the view.
