Bosky Dell on Boulders Beach, Simons Town

Bosky Dell (sheltered place) is perhaps the last secret hide-out of the Cape. In a truly unique setting directly above the iconic Boulders Beach, it seems lost in time.

A large, rambling homestead complete with coach house and stables built in 1850 has been converted into five charming self contained, self catering cottages. Bosky offers simple and comfy, peaceful and private, spotlessly clean accommodation.

The spacious private grounds adjoin Boulders Beach, our garden gate leads directly on to the beach walkway. The white sandy cove below is strewn with giant granite boulders 540 million years old. It is sheltered from the wind and offers safe, shark-free bathing.

Besides its incomparable beauty, the beach is famous for the unique colony of endangered African Penguins that took up home at The Boulders in 1982.
You actually do swim with the penguins! This is a nature lover's paradise - truly a hidden jewel where our visitors return to experience its magic.

Main House:
The Main House accommodates 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and the other two have twin beds. The bathroom has a shower and handbasin. There are two separate toilets. There is a lounge and dining area as well as a separate kitchen. The house opens onto a large veranda that looks out over the beach and ocean. The Main House can be linked with The B Cottage to accommodate larger parties.

B Cottage:
This cottage accommodates 4 guests in two bedrooms, the main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. There is a separate bathroom with a shower, handbasin and toilet. The living area opens onto an semi-private garden with outdoor terrace and complete with built in brick braai place. This cottage can be linked with the Main House for larger groups.

The A Cottage:
The A cottage can accommodate guests in two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. There is a small open-plan living area with a lounge and kitchenette which opens onto a small, private balcony overlooking the ocean. The cottage has an indoor sunroom from which one can enjoy ocean views and depending on the season the sunrise. The separate bathroom has a shower, toilet and handbasin.

The Stables;
An open plan studio suitable for couples with incredible sea views, even from the bed! A separate bathroom with shower, handbasin and toilet. Living area of studio has kitchenette, dining area and lounge. Outdoor terrace and braai area

The Coach House:
Unique small cottage with loft bedroom above lower open plan living area which comprises kitchenette, dinning are and lounge.
