For more than 20 years, the Jive Cape Town Funny Festival has served as the Mother City's winter remedy. The Festival has played to sold-out crowds each year since it started back in 1997.
The comedy variety event, which takes place at the Baxter Theatre every year for a month in June/July, features some of South Africa's greatest comics and top international variety performers. Many audience members have attended every Funny Festival thanks to this special show, and some have even come back twice or three times each season.
However, this is more than just a comedy show - as a result of a lengthy and unique partnership with our sponsors and partners, the cast and crew and are given access to a range of outings and experiences that highlight Cape Town at its best.
